With their boiling experiment a team from the Institute of Technical Thermodynamics takes part in the 100th parabolic flight campaign of DLR, ESA and CNES.

To enhance the measurement of boiling phenomena a team from the Institute of Technical Thermodynamics of TU Darmstadt uses phases of microgravity produced during parabolic flights. A new aspect of the campaign are additional manoeuvers in flight that give the researchers an opportunity to conduct their experiment under gravitational conditions reigning on Moon and Mars.
